Writing stories, fiction, creative nonfiction, reading all different kinds of stuff, fiction, chick lit, YA fiction (oh yeah, I like to write stories for kids and young adults as well), play guitar and sing folk music and Beatles stuff, go on spontaneous adventures every time I get the chance. Hang out at the beach as much as possible, go to cool rock concerts whenever possible. Live life to its fullest. Listen to the Beatles all the time!
...cool people who are non-judgmental -- people who like the Beatles and classic rock music, and like-minded writers like me!
JERM ON HIS 22ND B-DAY PLAYING HIS NEW BONGOS...
.. width="425" height="350" ..CLASSIC ROCK! The Beatles are still the best in my book --John, Paul, Ringo and George. also, Rolling Stones, the WHO (saw them in concert last year and wow, they're still awesome!), the Doors, Deep Purple, the Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC (not quite as old rock, but they're cool), Bad Company, etc. and etc...
I like loads of movies -- recent movies I like include: In Pursuit of Happyness; Little Miss Sunshine (my favorite movie of last year!); older movies such as Big Fish and Second Hand Lions and Holes and Finding Neverland. I'm way behind the times in the movie department. I still like to watch older movies.
I watch very little TV, except my daughter and I watch "Degrassi, the New Generation" together and now the "N" is even showing some of the old shows from the '80s as well. Didn't even keep up with American Idol this year because of my ongoing writing class.
"Blackbird" by Jennifer Lauck (memoir), "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini (fiction), "Lennon Revealed," by Larry Kane (Beatles info), "Magical Mystery Tours" by Tony Bramwell (Beatles info), "The Bitch Posse" by Martha O'Connor (fiction), "Time Off for Good Behavior" by Lani Diane Rich (chick lit), "If We Must Die" by Pat Carr (YA) and the list goes on and on...
My Mom, my kids, the Beatles, John, Paul, Ringo and George...anyone who goes for it and follows their dreams.
