About Me

Quick List of Hit and Miss:
I kicked off 2007 by crashing the stage to dance with the Flaming Lips. I'm a member of the Huntington Library and the band Loverlee as well as Super Karma and I back up The Bentleys. I Teach 8th grade English and Yearbook as well as advising the student book club. I bike around Stanley Park in Vancouver at least once a year. I love Trader Joe's. I got to tour the US playing songs I wrote. One of my songs was selected as one of ten songs to download by unsigned bands in the LA Times (and that is an annual list). I've played over 200 shows with bands of my own creation in addition to guest spots and school related perforjmances. I like when people can exchange. I like seeing new art and finding new art in old things. I aprreciate things done with good intentions to cheer up others' day and share something exciting and positive with a community.
Basically, I like art and people. I got to be a member of The Causey Way for a night at Spaceland,, was handed a mic by Anna Waronker to join her on a That Dog song at the Troubadour, and fullfilled my high school/college dream of opening for Imperial Teen twice. I have a bunch of really great friends. I like wine tasting and trying new food. I like reading next to someone."My life is constant let down and flattery" (popbandALICE)
