Wim Claes is a 46 year old composer/producer. In the early '90 he wrote a lot of songs with Bart Herman, and he also played in Bart's band. He (co-)wrote a lot of songs: all the X-Session songs, Kim 'Kay's Lilali, Vanessa Chinitor's Like the wind (12d place on the Eurovision Contest in 1999).He works for TV and made a lot of tapes for Idol, Star Academy (Fame),X-Factor and Eurosong for Kids. He also made the previous tune of 'Thuis'.These days he works a lot with Gene Thomas (www.myspacecom/genethomasmusic) and he writes, co-produces the songs and plays guitars in the band of Gene Thomas.
Together with Ingrid Mank he wrote "So many ways" for Idol 2007 winner Dean.
