Los Angeles natives Trefford Marien and Curt Barlage are the creative forces that make up WUNDERSTATION. With a wide-ranged musical background, which include a lifetime of DJ experience from Trefford (that has given him many opportunities to share the decks with the likes of electronic stars such as LTJ BUKEM, KING BRITT, DJ PREMIRE, THIEVERY CORP, KRUDER & DORFMEISTER all the way to Curt’s live musical adventures (such as his current 4 piece indie rock project, THE PACIFIC), WUNDERSTATION brings in an eclectic, fresh and original sound. WUNDERSTATION could be considered an expansion of the duo’s pre-existing, well-established project that resides under the name BLU BIZNESS, which takes on a more relaxed soul and rootsy house vibe as opposed to the more gritty, electronic-fueled rock and roll projections of WUNDERSTATION.
