About Me

I love to dance! I've danced all my life. A few years ago I discovered belly dancing and it was the most wonderful gift anyone could have ever given me. I danced with Palmetto Oasis in Charleston, SC (see pictures). Now I live in the Charlotte, NC area and I am privileged to take classes with Yasmine and Magic Hips (see video below). I would love to make friends with other dancers or anyone with an interest in music and dance.I'm a CPA with a local firm. I do tax work and QuickBooks consulting. I have a beautiful, brilliant twelve year old daughter and an adorable, energetic five year old son. They keep me on my toes.

I would like to meet Suhaila Salimpour, Issam Houshan, all of the Belly Dance Superstars, Shah Rukh Kahn, Madhuri Dixit, and Aishwarya Rai.

Music:

I like most music, especially if you can dance to it.

Movies:

I love science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy mysteries and comedies. I like to watch old movies (especially musicals) and Bollywood movies. Devdas is my favorite Bollywood movie.

Books:

My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings. I also like the Harry Potter books.
