About Me

Success
Bessie Anderson Stanley - 1904

He who has achieved success
has lived well,
laughed often, and loved much;

who has earned the trust of women,
the respect of intelligent men and
the love of little children;

who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;

who has left the world better than he found it
whether by an improved poppy,
a perfect poem or a rescued soul;

who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty
or failed to express it;

who has always looked for the best in others and
given them the best he had;

whose life was an inspiration;
whose memory a benediction.

My Interests

I LOVE beautiful things, people, places, minds, hearts, souls... all of the things that are honest, genuine and real in this world.

San Diego, Spring 2006

I love self-improvement, giving back to anyone in need, learning about my family legacy, and spending time with my family and friends.

Phoenix Sunset, Fall 2005

"Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius." - Wolfgang Amadè Mozart

I'd like to meet:

Cartoons and Fantasy or real life? REAL LIFE - UGH, I cant STAND cartoons. That is the quickest way to put me to sleep. STOP DREAMING, the real world is WAY too much fun!
What irritates you (most)? People who don't listen to my words. If I'm going to bother to say something, I MEAN IT (so, please listen). I also hate selfishness in relationships: specifically people who lie and withhold information because they're too afraid (of how they think I'll react/the outcome) to communicate. Talk about the quickest way to get me to leave you and with no warning either. I'll say it ONCE, just tell me the truth and tell me now. Lying to me will piss me off I will over-react to that before I over-react to anything else. I can spot a lie a mile away, please don't test me.

Ambitious with a plan or waiting for the right opportunity to come along? Ambitious and making it happen all day folks. NOTHING WILL EVER FALL IN YOUR LAP, stop waiting for it!
Do you set boundaries with people or do they walk all over you? I set boundaries, I set them early and I communicate them effectively. Listen to my words, please don't test me, I hate that.
Control yourself or control others? Control myself - people who think they can control others are living in a fantasy.
Have others told you that you’re a good listener? The majority of the time. However, if I need to be heard I have a hard time shutting up.
What are the 2 basic essentials to a healthy relationship (of any type)? Communication and Trust: Anything else is like trying to build a house on sand.
What is the perfect gift coming from a mate? Something that shows me they know me or have listened.
Shoes off at the door, or trample through the house? Off at the door
New couches or old smelly loveseat? New Couches
Dream home location(s)? On a Beach somewhere, a country estate & a condo/loft in the city
Lease or own? Lease everything except for the house, especially if you're getting the tax write-offs!
Hired Help (maid): worth every penny or save the money? Maybe a maid if the benefit truly outweighs the cost. Otherwise, cleaning house is a part of life. Make it a family activity and get it done sooner while teaching kids responsibility.
Are you financially responsible? At 25 I own a house and a luxury car. I moved out at 16 and have had NO assistance of ANYTYPE, EVER. I'll let you answer that question.
What age would you like to retire? 45 or 50
Spend money or save it? Save it
Wash the car or take it to the car wash? Wash the car. I love washing my car. Plus, I do a MUCH better job than the people at the detail shop. Talk about a waste of money and a headache to have to sit there and keep pointing out things they've missed.
Coupon clipper or just grab it and go? Oh, coupon clipper for sure. I'm stingy and frugal too. Not a penny will be wasted of my hard earned $, it doesn't matter how much I do or don't have.
