His path to hip hop stardom began at an early age when his dad use to play old salsa, merenge, James brown, revolutionary music, you name it he played it. AO would listen to the music and the words and picked up a vocabulary and notice that putting words together and making them rhyme came easy to him. The early 90’s in L.A. where a troublesome time and as crime began to pick up AO’s dad decided to move so, at the age of 10 AO made his way to the 760 San Bernardino County, Hesperia California, little did he know how much the high desert would influence him and what the high desert would have in store for him in the future. In junior high AO met this kid named Jesse Jamison that went my nickname of “HEAD†from the jump they got along and became good friends. One day Head brought some drum sticks to school and was banging all over the place making beats and AO notice and ass if it was suppose to happen that’s when it all started and they both realized they had music in them. It wasn’t until 16 when AO first laid lyrics down on paper and he would record on whatever was available karaoke machines computer mics whatever he could get his voice on. Little by little his name started to ring bells in the 760 from 2004 to 2006 he went to a transformation going thru tribulations and what not having to grow up quick from going to jail, drugs, loosing a baby, to being only 2 heart beats way from death. He likes to call those years the stepping stones to the throne. It wasn’t until 2006 when he got a phone call from Head and had a serious conversation abut this music and actually trying to do something with it. So for the past year and half AO has name for himself by putting out two cd’s in 2007 and currently working on a mixtape and an album be on the look out for the mixtape late 2007 and album “Prince of the H volume 10 Ahead of his Time†early 2008. Also look out for the Officialist album coming summer 2008. He has done shows up and down southern California opening for Yung Berg, Hieroglyphics A Plus and many local artist doing there thing also. If rap was a stop sign AO would have too many driving tickets for not stopping. He has proven himself one of the nicest lyricist in the high desert you feel you want to test him holla at him. He is focus now more that ever, only thing is world can stop him and that’s the man upstairs He would like to shout out all those who has helped him along the way and those have gone out there way to make his shows those that have purchased his cd’s those that come to the myspace page to check his music out AO says thanks.
