Violence has no Voice without Silence....

About Me

Greek Goddess, born and raised in Santa Cruz. I am an actress/model/housewife/window designer/mother to a chihuahua. I write poetry and enjoy reading good books. I love Marilyn avidly, and am working on research for the book I am continuously writing. Vintage cars make my heart beat faster. My loves are my husband Scott and our chihuahua Norma Jeane...they provide a special light in my life that no other could dream to emulate. I love my part-time job as a lingerie salesperson/window designer at Amoureuse. I love coming up with new ideas for photo shoots and am honored to work with some of the best photographers in the world. My sister has been my team mate from the time I was four, and she truly knows me better than anyone in the world. I am very close with my family and am an incredibly loyal friend. Maybe someday I will grow into another person, but for right now, I like being me. Oh, and just because I wear vintage clothes and drive an old car doesn't mean that I am a self-centered, image-obsessed girl who judges other women by their appearances. I actually have depth and am not into fads of cherries and swallows, so....don't call me a Rockabilly.

My Interests

My biggest focus is acting, be it on stage, in front a camera, or improv, I was born to entertain. I also love modeling as well because it has gotten me closer to my dream of being a well-paid, professional actress....which I have been working towards for the past 16 years. My other two big passions in life are writing poetry and constantly adding new items to my MM memorabilia collection, which is getting so large it's starting to take over our spare bedroom. I have an obsession with vintage clothes and accessories...and one day want to get back into buying and selling vintage. I also love spending time driving my pimped out gold 1965 Ford Galaxie 500, with Norma Jeane as the best and smallest co-pilot ever.My other interests and passions include: The First Amendment, ALL animals....especially dogs, new tattoos, graveyards, (I got proposed to in one) smoking the ganja, classic car shows, the pouring rain, horrorfilms/old movies, guns, feminism, baking pies, music and going to concerts, the english language, mannequins, pin-ups, making collages, reading, yoga, naked women, excercizing demons, Halloween, buddhism, fire, being a damn good wife, vegetarian food, playing pool, bowling, road trips, vintage lamps, dolls, cars, photographs....pretty much anything vintage. I believe in reincarnation, soulmates and creating good karma for ourselves. I feel closest to my purpose when I am standing up for something I believe in. I am interested in the paranormal, psychics and anything out of the ordinary.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is creative and unique....normalcy bores me.

Music:

System of a Down, Tool, Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Janis Joplin, Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, Bauhaus, Led Zeppelin, The Misfits (I'm not a snob, so I like old and new), Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Sublime, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, Korn, Cypress Hill, Radiohead, Marilyn Manson, Murder City Devils, Jack Off Jill, The Chop Tops, Jimmi Hendrix, Fiona Apple, Devil Makes Three, The Cherry Poppin Daddies, The Doors, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bikini Kill, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, The Cramps, Mudvayne, Ramstein, Slipknot, The Trigger Renegades, The Damned, Cat Stevens, Eddie Cochran, Liz Phair, Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Joe Jackson, Cream, BB King, Tupac, Billie Holiday, Social Distortion/Mike Ness, A Perfect Circle, Rage Against the Machine, Deftones, Mazzy Star, 50 Cent, Hayride to Hell, Misery & Company, (my husband sings and plays guitar) Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Seven Year Bitch, Hole, L-7, Buddy Holly, RKL, The Coffin Nails, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Johnny Cash, 45 Grave, all 3 Hank Williams'...I'll listen to anything except pop girl/boy group bullshit...and "new" country...yuck!

Movies:

Cheesy horror/slasher flicks! Plan 9 from Outer Space!! (best movie ever...I LOVE Bela Lugosi, he was born EXACTLY 100 yrs. before me...Oct.20 1882! Plus Vampira is the hottest ghoul ever) Eraserhead is one of my all time favorites. Other favorites include: Christine, (I actually had a car that acted like that. She was cursed) Harrold and Maude, Texas Chainsaw, Edward Scissorhands, Be Cool, Evil Dead, Young Frankenstein, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Pirates of the Caribbean, (Johnny Depp is a gorgeous pirate!) all the Halloween's, all the Friday the 13th's, Suburbia, True Romance, Get Shorty, Helter Skelter, Nightmare before Xmas, (anything directed by Tim Burton), etc. you get the idea. My most prized collection is all my Marilyn movies on VHS, I own a good portion of the 31 films she made, and am always working towards completion via ebay, flea markets, etc. :)

Television:

My husband and I watch CSI RELIGIOUSLY!! Even re-runs. We also love The Simpsons, Fear factor, Without a Trace, South Park, Forensic Files, anything on Animal Planet, and even though my husband HATES all my day time talk shows, (Jerry Springer, Maury, Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, Montel, etc.) I am still addicted to them!

Books:

I obviously read, and own mostly biographies/theories of the life and death of Miss Monroe, (I have a HUGE collection that is always growing). I also like to read some horror, fiction and non-fiction, (serial killers are pretty darn fascinating) as well as feminist revolution books. Long live the ladies!!!!!! Biographies of bands or of interesting people in history are always cool. Edward Gorey rocks, as do all of Grimm's faerytales. Some of the best books in my opinion are: The Red Tent, Brave New World, 1984, The Women Who Run With the Wolves, Cunt, (anything by Inge Muscio) The Grapes of Wrath, Tortilla Flat, My Story, etc. And I love anything by Stephen King, (my Mama taught me to love that brilliant man), and my Father introduced me to the endless talents of Steinbeck. I was mostly brought up reading Greek Myths, (25% Greek Goddess baby!) and Buddhist children's stories. I love Maya Angelou, Poe and Ginsberg, but Sylvia Plath is my all time favorite poet. I really enjoy reading just about anything as long as it keeps my attention.

Heroes:

I idolize Marilyn because she was an amazing, beautiful, extremely talented and magical person, not because it's hip to like her, and sport her image without knowing anything about her as a person and a very talented actress. I have been in love with her and her inexplicable energy since my father bought me my first poster of her when I was 4, and I have avidly collected her memorablia ever since, being sure to steer clear of fad-type shit that disrespects her memory and her last wishes in her will. My favorite tat is her signature on my back. RIP Norma Jeane/Marilyn..."Anyone Can See I Love You"...... Some others: My husband Scotty, Inge Muscio (who wrote a fucken awesome book called Cunt, that everyone should read), Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, George Romero, Sylvia Plath, Vampira, Courtney Love, Tim Burton, my dog Norma Jeane becasue she is always happy and full of love for everyone, Betty Paige, Tori Amos, Bela Lugosi, Lucille Ball, Clara Bow, Isadora Duncan, Emily Dickenson, Jean Harlow, Tallulah Bankhead, The Bride of Frankenstein, Barbara Allen, Vincent Price, George Lerios, The Dalai Lama, Angelina Jolie, my little sister Sophia, and of course my awesome Mama and Papa...the best people on the planet to model yourself after as far as I am concerned.

On Sept. 3rd my righteously cool Mommy and I saw Tool live at the Oakland Coliseum. They were amazing...some bands are good live but sound nothing like their album. Well, Tool is not one of...
