mFANEKISOnGqonDWENi aka STXA aka Deconscious Blade is this other cat that comes from the Valleys of Paarl in Mbekweni ,just outside Cape Town. Was born and bred in the jungle of raw hip hop struggle Representing for Digital Xhosa Hip Hop ,some refer to as SPAZA but nevertheless its still HiP HoP . Mfanekiso has been doing this shit Since the science of the late nineties(1998) Ekharavenini ,dropping mysterious Demoz on Cassetes and shit. Being from Mbekweni , which could be classified as a semi rural Township kinda Place ,Mfanekiso had to teach himself the art of rhyming because, from his point of view,Real Hip hop was non-existed in his area at the time,However though, cats like Funkshin Three(Jaak),Kamalie,BRT,Griffin,Junia B, Yunique, and other mcees always held it down for other spots around Paarl. After perfoming at local shows and other irrelevant events, in 2001 He decided to start organizing monthly Hip hop gatherings that would unite and the whole of PV(paarl) hip hop and inspire a lot of kids in his township to pickup the mic and say something. He later on in 2003 won an emcee battle as one of the Dopest in Paarl .A week after that together with DJ Lyle they hosted one of Paarls Dopest Youth Radio Show ever called ”LIFE” and ,He was responsible for the Hip Hop section of the show and they were straight up killing it for a year or so.Mfanekiso has performed almost all over paarl and, he also belongs to the Cape Town Underground Community .Since 2001 he has been ciphering , performing and battling with some of Cape Town emcees and crews .Some of the events he Blessed so far are the Fire in the mountain Festival ,Hip hop connected ,Cosmic wars ,Fresh Outdoors, BoomBlast and Many more other gig and spots .Together with his crew, “Original accents’ they featured on the Cape winelands Compilation CD which was sold allover Germany, Belgium, America an here at Home ,S.A .Also mfanekiso features on the up coming Spaza Shop compilation CD with some of the Kaapstad nicest Spaza mcees .Recently though, for the past two years mfanekiso has been on beats for some of Paarl and Cape Town mcees and Crews .On the list he has done Beats for Mdakanaiza, Expurgate, Endz, Slu Dem crew, Jaak, Yinique, Eavesdrop, Original Accents, Eddy Scabz, Isibingelelo Samadimoni, Dubulegeqe, Junia B, Comet Earthworm ,Black magic crew and for a lot more other fresh and established acts. Last year in 2006 he single handedly produced and featured on the “ISIQALO” compilation CD which did well in Paarl and Cape Town . Although he is primarily an emcee and is mostly on hip hop beats, He hates it when people categorize and wanna box his sound. He is forever willing to collaborate with all kinds of artists in the world ,with all ways of vibe .
