Dustin E. is one of the Midwest's hardest working djs. Hailing from St. Louis and serving as a cornerstone of the infamous Dedication Crew, Dustin has been instrumental in establishing one of the foremost dnb scenes west of the Mississippi. His talents behind the decks have garnered him impressive support slots alongside the likes of Technical Itch, Dylan, Gein, SPL, and many others. Djing since 1998, Dustin entered the world of production in 2001. He initially dabbled in a barrage of genres including hip hop, breakcore and IDM. In search of a more uncompromising approach to drum n' bass, Dustin joined forces with the Atlanta based Soothsayer Recordings in 2005. Therafter he became an integral figure in the A&R, marketing, and management of the label. His production methods have been honed in the form of a forthcoming remix of Enduser's "Manoeuvre" to be released on the new Soothsayer sublabel, Dubplatelet. In the meantime his accomplished work as a graphic artist and painter yielded the cover artwork for the first Enduser LP, "Comparing Paths", and the logo design for Technical Itch's dubstep label, Ascension. His St. Louis area promotions and event management culminated in one of the first Therapy Sessions in the United States. Dustin has also partnered with Robyn Chaos for promotions with Anger Management UK and recently been appointed as the new web admin for Freak Recordings. 2008 will the see the continuation of Dustin E's grassroots, blue collar djing and promotion in addition to his representation of Soothsayer, Freak, and Anger Management UK.
