The production team known as THE CORPORATION is comprised of three talented individuals known as Beatman, DocSavage, and BlackBox. Beatman and DocSavage are from Vallejo, California and BlackBox is from Camarillo, California. Beatman and DocSavage, child hood friends, separated shortly after high school. Beatman and BlackBox met during their freshman year at California State University Northridge as minor rivals but very shortly the two competitive spirits joined together to become be a very popular production duo around campus. After noticing the musical potential, Beatman revived his relationship with DocSavage which lead to the merging of three very different styles. When meshed together these styles result in music unlike any heard before. Enduring many name changes and business challenges they finally decided to be known as THE CORPORATION. These young producers work together fluidly to produce musical concoctions that are notoriously ear-catching and creative, drawing from a variety of influences. Influenced by his father, who is heavily involved with gospel music, Beatman is inspired by soulful artist such as Stevie Wonder but also well known rap artists such as the Vallejo native E-40. Doc Savages influences range from west coast super-producer Dr. Dre to musician Carlos Santana; however he feels the popular Bay Area producer known as Rick Rock has played a major role in his production. BlackBoxs inspiration comes from more abstract producers such as Dark Child and Timbaland, but also gives credit to his father who is Nigerian, which gave rise to his use of ethnic sounding instruments. This mixture of soulful/west coast/abstraction, with mainstream radio appeal, is a combination that has not been heard. With such a variety of genres, THE CORPORATION is sure to turn heads.
PRODUCTION EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS (CONTACT FOR PRICES): By purchasing exclusive rights to one of our beats, you will be allowed to use the beats for all profitable commercial purposes. This includes use of the beats on CD releases, television, and radio. Once exclusive rights have been obtained, no one else will be granted the rights to use the beat. Exclusive rights can only be sold to one user, and cannot, by the terms of contract, be sold to anyone else. Once exclusive rights have been purchased, you will receive a CD in the mail containing the full beat tracked out in data format ( wav ) as well as a mixed audio format ( can be played in a cd player). You will also receive a contract to be signed by both us and you granting you the exclusive rights to the beat.
LEASING RIGHTS (CONTACT FOR PRICES): By purchasing leasing rights to one of our beats, you will be allowed to use the beats for only ONE profitable commercial purpose. This also means that your rights to the beat are non-exclusive, and in this case, people can still purchase exclusive or leasing rights to the same beat. So if you want to do a demo, or are just recording a demo, or are making an album on a low budget. Once leasing rights are purchased, you will receive a CD in the mail containing the full beat mixed down in either data format ( wav ) or audio format ( can be played in a cd player). You can also opt to get the beat in both formats if you need it. LEASING A BEAT WILL NOT GET YOU A TRACKED OUT VERSION. You will also receive a contract to be signed by both us and you granting you the leasing rights to the beat.
CUSTOM BEATS (CONTRACT FOR PRICES): Custom Beats are available for the artists and record companies who are serious about putting together an artist's Album/EP project and have the budget to finance such a project. Custom Beats are sold to only one user and the exclusive rights to use the obtained Custom Beat cannot be resold or transferred to any other party. We will work with you to make the track just the way you want it. Prices will vary depending on the complexity of the track, and how long it takes to come up with the final accepted version.
