About Me

Hi,My name is Patricia Joyce Lamon Wylie. I live in Anahuac, Texas, which is east of Houston and west of Beaumont. It is a subtropical area and I love it here. I am usually very outgoing. I hardly ever meet a stranger. I enjoy people of kinds of backgrounds, beliefs, and countries. I have a deep belief in Jesus as my Savior. I believe in the Christian belief that you should not judge another person. You should pray for them and love them. I try very hard to follow that. I am divorced. It's something I would rather not get into. I have a daughter who is a writer and a son who is an EMT. They are both married and my son has given me three beautiful grandchildren: two girls and a boy.I felt that this might show some of what I believe as a Christian and about God's love for us. This is about Adam and Eve.I also would like to add a warning to thos who do not know the Lord. He is coming again. Any time now. There are no prophecies left to be filled. Be warned, my friends. you do not want to be left behind. You don't. I promise you...

My Interests

I love to go bird watching. I collect photographs of famous people. I do scrapbooks of their photos. I enjoy meeting people.I am interested in helping find lost children. I get the amber alerts, etc., and this is someone on My Space who does thats. ..0>I also feel that a Christian should be involved in politics and vote and pray their convictions. Since my candidate has been defeated by John McCain, I will have to pray over this. Perhaps someone will run on a third party candidacy who I can respect enough to vote for. As it is right now, I don't like any of them. Don't trust them.

I'd like to meet:

People who are Moody Blues or Neil Diamond fans. Fans of Viggo Mortensen or Gerard Butler. Love those actors. They are awesome in what they do. Here is a cool video that someone put together from Gerard Butler's movies. It's in His Kiss
..
Add to My Profile | More VideosPeople who enjoy reading mysteries or SciFi. Fellow Christians who would love to share or have prayer requests. I would love to meet anyone who attended Liberty Elementary or Liberty Eylau Jr High in Texarkana during the 60s. I would love to meet someone who went to Queen City High School during the early 70s through 73.

Music:

I love Justin Hayward and the Moody Blues. I have seen them twice and wish they would come back to Texas again. My favorite contemporary gospel rock band is the Newsboys. I saw them two weeks ago in Houston. It was taped for a DVD and I can hardly wait. I do enjoy worshipping at gospel concerts. They are truly incredible. I like a lot of different contemporary Christian artists Here's the banner for one of them...the Dave Crowder Band. Their drummer is the brother of my son's brother-in-law. They are a great group. Todd Agnew is another one I truly enjoy. There are so many. Go to KSBJ.org and enjoy their music as well as many others.

This is a new group on my friend's list. They have an incredible sound.

..

Movies:

I work in a video store so I see lots of movies. My favorites right now are Dear Frankie, which I finally got to see. I highly recommend it to everyone. My latest favs are Evan Almighty, Invisible, Shattered(which will be out on December 24th. I just saw Amazing Grace and I recommend it highly. Everyone should see this movie.

Television:

I watch some programming but not a lot. I enjoy the crime dramas: CSI, CSI Miami, CSI New York, Bones, Criminal Minds, Monk and Numbers. I watch all the Star Trek series reruns. I try to catch any Scifi. I have to admit that I am a Supernatural fan. Like Jensen Ackles. My new favorite show is Moonlight with Alex O'Loughlin. He is an incredible, charismatic actor and isn't afraid to play a character who can be very vulnerable. It is a great Vampire show. Moonlight won the People's Choice Awards for Best New Drama and CBS still has not seen fit to renew the show. Please help us get the word out to CBS.Mr. Les Moonves CEO of CBS 51 West 52nd Street New York, NY 10019-6188 ( 212 ) 975-4545 Email : [email protected] Tassler CBS Entertainment President 7800 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90039-2112 ( 323 ) 575-27477Audience Services ~ Email : [email protected] Phone # ( 212 ) 975-3247CBS feedback ~ http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.shtmlI was given this today. Hi, just wanted to let everyone know who will be contacting CBS regarding season 2 of Moonlight, to use the audience services [email protected] or 212-975-3247. When I called the numbers for the CEO and the entertainment president I was told they would relay the info, but if I wanted my opinion to really count I should leave a message at the above number or email the above address, because that info is actually calculated and that is what they take into concideration. So please if you want this show back as much as I do keep calling that number and keep emailing them at that address.(This is from what I would probably call my favorite show of all time.)

Books:

I read mysteries, biographies, historie and Scifi fantasy. I love the Left Behind series and have read all 16 volulmes. I like the new series LaHaye has done with a different author. It is kind of a Christian Indiana Jones and very good. I just recently discovered Debbie Macomber She writes stories about women for women and she is VERY good. I would highly recommend her. I have recently been reading the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. Oh, my!! What a fantastic writer. She draws you in to the story. She knows the time period and the society and morals of the time. Her characters are real. I highly recommend these three books.

Heroes:

The apostle Paul comes to mind. I have a friend named Bill Adams who travels and witnesses like Paul. He would be my contemporary hero I guess.
