I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

So I haven't been on in a few ages but I'm still alive. This myspace is trying to be Facebook these days, is it? I now reside in Miami, where it is a seasonless march of hot days and latin american languages. But I do have a job, and I still have my dude, which is the reason why I'm here actually. Once I get the hang of this place, I'm sure I'll be fine. It is really weird to have Christmas in 80 degree weather though...

My Interests

Sugar Monkeys, Animation, Art (creation and appreciation...mostly appreciation these days), Art History, languages, graphic design, Jimmy Johns, running/fitness, animals (especially monkeys and hamsters), and random stuff.DISLIKES: Driving, math, pepperoni pizza, dry skin, artificial lights, messyness, and Miami.

I'd like to meet:

Everything ..eoverload.com. No. Seriously. EVERYTHING.

Music:

Kay, I'm probably blasphemous but I listen to more NPR than music these days. But here's what I've been known to listen to: Ben Folds (Five), Jump Little Children, Rufus Wainwright, Frou Frou/Imogen Heap, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Sufjan Stevens, Guster, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Cake, Pete Yorn, Ben Kweller, Django Reinheardt, Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie/the Postal Service, Third Eye Blind, The Shins, Whenever Cheburashka sings, or Schnappi das kleine Krokodil, Yo Yo Ma, William Byrd, Chopin, Handel, and Sergei Rachmaninoff to name a few.

Movies:

The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spirited Away, Almost Famous, Howls Moving Castle, Moulin Rouge, Garden State, V for Vendetta, Cheburashka, Empire Records, Run Lola Run, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Shawshank Redemption, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Zoolander, Eddie Izzard's comedy DVDs, generally movies are dramas, comedies, or foreign, with the occassional mainstream fare.

Television:

The Sifl and Olly Show and Clone High when they were on air, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report, Dog Shows, The Brak Show, Mr. Show, Scrubs, Ninja Warrior shows with Stacy London in them and more "World's Wildest Police Videos" than I care to admit.

Books:

Stephen Colbert's I Am America And So Can You
