I am here for Friends

About Me

Im a twenty something, mildly aimless yet cheery girl from Cornwall. I work for a conservation charity, but in my free time I like to paint, sew, read, catch up with friends over a bbq and watch the sea. I really like music, though I don't know alot about it! I think that the people we know help to make us the people we are. I recently got married to the love of my life and we are very happily expecting our first baby next March! I am happy x

My Interests

OOO, I am interested in alot of things, I'll try most things at least once, but it's always good getting to know new people.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone, Briefly

Music:

All and every, but mostly happy stuff. I like music that makes you feel something. Different things for different moods though.

Movies:

I'll watch anything, but particularly like la violin rouge, series 7, remains of the day and all aboard the crazy train.

Television:

I don't really watch tv. but I like figuring out whodunnit before the tv detectives do.

Books:

Jung Chang's Wild Swans was amazing, and so was Memoirs of a Geisha. But I must admit to reading through all of Jane Austins works at least once a year.

Heroes:

I try not to look up to or down on people. I figure its easier if we treat everyone like we're all equal.

My Blog

reliving the collision

I was recently contacted by one of these no-win-no-fee quacks of a solicitor hired by the thug who drove in to me a week before my wedding. She possibly is the dumbest hack imaginable as by her versio...

baby getting big

and with baby's growth, I too am getting big. The problem is is that the gain in size happens quite quickly, so I keep thinking that I'm sprightly and that I can fit through small gaps etc. I can't. I...

I’m rubbish at titles :-)

Funny old week so far. My dad was in hospital today. He had to have surgery to remove his gaull bladder. It all went well and hopefully he should be back home with my mum by tomorrow evening, but it m...

I do still exist :-)

Everything has all been a bit busy, well that and my hormones took over for a while. I read that while pregnant it's possible for a woman to have up to 1000 times more hormones in her system, which ex...

Well after picking up a maternity costume last week in plymouth I felt I should go swimming. So midweek, late evening seemed like a good time. Well, if nothing else, it was pretty much guarenteed to b...

hyper baby and vivid dreams

I have noticed that when I am at my parents house in the middle of the country with fresh sea air, as opposed to home, just above a busy town, the baby kicks and moves around alot more. I don't just m...

The baby and meatloaf

Meatloafs bat out of hell is an all time classic rock great. Nath has it on a compilation cd that he sometimes (often) has on in the van. I like that it reminds me of when I was younger, so I put it o...
