Dead or Judged formed out of the ashes of two local southern California bands. Originally formed by Adam Munoz (Vocals) and Mike Crepeault (Guitars) on a long weekend of phone conversations and a whole lot of frustration. Adam split from the inland empire band Katharsis. Paying his dues with random musicians until he came across Mike Crepeault and Jake Sand who were in a similar and frustrating situation. Mike and Jake were playing in another local band called Scapethroat. Both held thier own in the band, Mike on guitars, and Jake keeping the battery alive on drums. Do to complications with communications, and the people growing apart. Scapethroat met an untimely and early demise. Being that Mike and Adam had potential and were not alone decided to form Dead or Judged. During the first six months of the bands existance there has been a few lineup changes. First with bassist until we came across Jon Mendez. Jon came in and showed us how a bassist should play. With no reservation and no intentions of wanting to play the guitar. And second with the departure of Mark Bovino. Not something we wanted but nothing that is going to slow us down or hold us back. Now we are looking to play as many shows as possible to show that inland empire metal is still alive and kicking. Without the help of girl pants or eyeliner, these four guys look to open peoples eyes as to what can be said and what can be played in the realm of aggressive music.
