About Me

I started playin steel and guitar at age 9 and have been playing ever since. I was brought up listening to real country!! Buck Owens, Haggerd, Jones, Gene Watson, Jonny Paycheck and the list goes on! Got in to Ricky Skaggs and fast chicken picken stuff as well as the cool ballads that were out.I also play guitar and love to play serious rock and have alot growing up. My love however, is a hot Tele playin some serious chicken picken 90 miles an hour!! I also love to hear Satriani tear some smokin rock up and play along with him. I really like all music but "Country" is my favorite! The real stuff as my buddy Rusty Danmyer says! Today's country is by far the real stuff but it has it place with the fans. LET ME SAY THIS LOUD. STOP CALLING IT TRADITIONAL, ITS REAL COUNTRY!!!! Ok, sorry but i truly believe there should be lines in music!! Country is country and Rock is Rock and so on! Just my take!!! Anyway, i'll play anything but there is nothing like a cold beer and Gene Watson singing a sad song!! Today i'm 47 years old and some tell me i don't have the look to play the big show! Well, steel players are better heard than seen and that's all i have to say!!
