Charlie Sarsfield -
this dood has no clue what he has done to my life. He was the very first person to ever put a set of drum sticks in my hands, back at age 9 or so, and I havent looked back since. I owe you HUGE!
ELizabeth Ogden -
One night my friend Jeremy wanted me to go into this bar to just "check it out", I had been there before and wasnt really into paying 5 bucks just to walk in the door. Let me tell you, that 5 bucks was the best 5 bucks Ive ever spent in my entire life. While Jeremy was doing his thing, I was posted up by the dance floor, watching people make complete idiots of themselves. I had turned around for a moment and I saw the most beautiful pair of eyes starring back at me, it was like i was locked onto her soul. She was following her friend down some stairs, I could tell she didnt want to go. I purposely looked away, to not make her nervous, but she knew I was still starring. They had turned around and started heading upstairs, to the restrooms. I knew i could atleast get another glimps of her, because there was only one way down. I had this entire plan set up in my mind, as to what i was going to do when and if she walked past me. This other girl came up and started talking to me, super bad timing on her part. Then before I knew it the girl i had the plan for, started walking down the stairs, i could tell it was one of those eye games, like im looking at you but im not. So as she started walking towards me, i told that other girl to go away, like literally made the hand motion and everything, shewwwing her away, like the gnat she was. As she was passing me, i reached out my hand and grabbed her wrist and asked her what her name was. Honestly she could have said anything, and I wouldnt have remembered. I told her "i think ive seen you down here before", which coulda been true, because downtown is huge. Now it is 24 days exactly til our wedding day. That was by far the best 5 bucks i could have ever spent!

the Wailers

OK, i'm not trying to be negative or anything, but reggae shows could possibly be one of the worst ones we have to work. its not the actual lifting or unloading, its more like the communication barrie...

STINKY Metal?

OK so recently we've had quite a few "metal" shows at HOB. For the most part, the shows are some of the easiest shows to work, because most of these guys aren't used to getting any help, not used to h...

Ok lemme start this one by saying, I saw these guys open for Metallica back in 1990. Maybe they should think about how much music has changed since then..... So the load in was normal, 1 semi, but it ...
