Papie Keys is a very talented musician of Antillian descent (Curaçao), playing keyboard and percussion among other instruments. He is a producer, composer and arranger aswell specialized in Latin, Caribbean, Afro-beat, African jazz and Gospelmusic. His musical carreer started off in Curaçao in the early eighties. He played with and in several bands both international as local. From accompanieng Percy Sledge to starting the well known Antillean band called the Friends, to arranging for the legendary ERA on Curacao and being a part from the Surinamese band Trafassi (Well known in Surinam and the Netherlands) In spite of a colourful musical career in especially Latin and Caribbean music, his real passion lays in making Gospel music with all flavours of his specialism. He feels and knows it is his mission to give His talent back to the Lord and minister to Him with the gift of music. At the current time PapieKeys is accompanieng Freddy Gumbs among others in his mininstry as a Gospelsinger.
