Playing almost any sport, going to UT Football games, live music, the lake, guinness, Tito's, BBQs, painting, poker, SCUBA...just got PADI certified.
People to hang with, listen to live music, go to the lake, wakeboard, cook, SCUBA etc...You are 93% REAL Texan!! Â
High five, you're a complete Texan. People from other states should tremble in your presence because they're simply not worthy. Let them bow before you and convey their undying adoration to you while they announce their true desire to be Texan.
How Texan Are You?
almost anything on the radio or iTunes. Not too hip on Country, but I'll listen to some Willie or George Jones every once in a while, The Dan Band (thedanband.com), Sam Brooker. Local: Dan Dyer, Built by Snow, Carolyn Wonderland, Boombox, prefer SCABS to Bob/Lonelyland...a few more I can't think of right now.
Rope, Rear Window, Cashback(great movie no one's heard about), The Player, Old School, Office Space, The Usual Suspects, American History X, High Fidelity, Swingers, Princess Bride, Groundhog Day, So I Married an Axe Murderer, The Godfather, 80's movies we all grew up with...so many more. I've got a huge DVD collection.
Anything in High Definition, CSIs (except NY), LOST, The Office, My Name is Earl, Sopranos, Entourage, Simpsons, Arrested Development, Nip/Tuck, Dead Zone, Monk...yadda, yadda, yadda.
Angels & Demons. before that: The DaVinci Code, High Fidelity and Growing up chicano/a. It's a compilation of short stories. Started "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but haven't picked it up in awhile.
My mom. 'Nuff said.
