My Interests

Books:

The House of Leaves
By Mark Danielewski
This book is a fucking trip. Some pages are written upside down and some are backwards and shit. It made me feel like I was losing my mind…Maybe I was. Maybe I DID! Oh god, no!
Invisible Monsters
By Chuck Palahniuk
This is my favorite from him. I think it’s very quotable. ..Ya know, when I’m trying to convince my friends that I’m smart…and literate.
Lullaby
By Chuck Palahniuk
I had this book for months and finally I decided to read it. I've become a little bit of a fan of, "Chuck 'Nuck"...-that's what I call him. This, like most books inspired me to do something different with my life. In this case it's murder people with an African Lullaby. I tried it to recite Warren G's "Regulate" to people in order to kill them, but I received no such outcome. Such is my life.
Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto
By Chuck Klosterman
This dude is funny. He makes me believe that nerdy guys who like to complain about meatheads and lifes bullshit have a place in this world.
The Outlaw Bible Of American Poetry
By Alan Kaufman
Some good stuff from some beatnick and hippie writers in the 1960’s, to modern, urban “Slam” poetry type people. …I like it when the words rhyme!!!
Hollywood
By Charles Bukowski
This is the first time I read Bukowski. It sort of makes me want to be an alcoholic. Isn't that a bad thing? The book itself is good though reguardless of what it inspires me to do with my life. I read it in one sitting...like a TWINKIE! Actually, I usually dont read twinkies in one sitting, I eat them. I neglected to eat this book when I was through. Though, I enjoyed it just the same.

Big

Big and my first erection on memory are two things that will forever be synonymous with one another. No, my first memorable erection was not big. It was no adjective even close to that word. Hell, I'm...

They Were, They Were and it Was

Sometimes life can throw you a curveball. If for some reason the last few figurative pitches were high and inside, you will no doubt be caught unprepared. Your knees will buckle, you'll miss your big ...

My Early Morning Duty

Early this morning before work I found myself lying on my couch for a few minutes soaking up this thing called life. A headache, induced by a rather early night of drinking seemed to do it's best to t...

The Short Arm of the Road

It was a toll paying experience unlike any I've ever had before. It was an encounter with a stranger I thought I'd never have. Last night, As I drove away from a toll booth, the speed and succession o...

Just In Case

For thirteen years of my life I had a marginally more than moderately pressed and starched construct of religion. I wore a marginally less than pressed and starched uniform for most of these years, an...

Sometimes People Change, Sometimes I Change

This morning I woke up to the soothing sounds of Josh's voice recorded on an alarm clock, screaming "Cock-A-Doodle Doo!" cuddling with an indistinguishable Pokemon stuffed animal and on a fairly comfo...

Post-Primitave Man's Ultimate Comfort

Every day is a new day, as they say. No two days are ever the same. It's a nice concept. Under this conceptual umbrella each day will bring about new ideas, experiences, feelings and people. Ah, how r...

Narrowly Escaping Sanity

Day after day, I sit at work and I narrowly avoid sanity. Working an eight hour day, I sit alone and I wait. Some days I wait until 5:00, waiting straight though the day without any semblance of a bre...
