Books:
The House of Leaves
By Mark Danielewski
This book is a fucking trip. Some pages are written upside down and some are backwards and shit. It made me feel like I was losing my mind…Maybe I was. Maybe I DID! Oh god, no!
Invisible Monsters
By Chuck Palahniuk
This is my favorite from him. I think it’s very quotable. ..Ya know, when I’m trying to convince my friends that I’m smart…and literate.
Lullaby
By Chuck Palahniuk
I had this book for months and finally I decided to read it. I've become a little bit of a fan of, "Chuck 'Nuck"...-that's what I call him. This, like most books inspired me to do something different with my life. In this case it's murder people with an African Lullaby. I tried it to recite Warren G's "Regulate" to people in order to kill them, but I received no such outcome. Such is my life.
Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs: A Low Culture Manifesto
By Chuck Klosterman
This dude is funny. He makes me believe that nerdy guys who like to complain about meatheads and lifes bullshit have a place in this world.
The Outlaw Bible Of American Poetry
By Alan Kaufman
Some good stuff from some beatnick and hippie writers in the 1960’s, to modern, urban “Slam†poetry type people. …I like it when the words rhyme!!!
Hollywood
By Charles Bukowski
This is the first time I read Bukowski. It sort of makes me want to be an alcoholic. Isn't that a bad thing? The book itself is good though reguardless of what it inspires me to do with my life. I read it in one sitting...like a TWINKIE! Actually, I usually dont read twinkies in one sitting, I eat them. I neglected to eat this book when I was through. Though, I enjoyed it just the same.
