About Me

Yardena Arazi was a member of the female vocal trio Chocolat, Menta, Mastik in the 1970s along with Lea Lupatin and Ruti Holtzman.
Together they represented Israel in the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Emor Shalom" ("Say hello").
They were placed sixth in The Hague.
In 1979, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) asked Arazi to co-host the Eurovision Song Contest, staged on March 31 in Jerusalem.
Her connection with the song contest continued when she sang entries in the Israeli finals of 1982, 1983 and 1985.
1987 saw her co-host the event and in 1988 she was selected by IBA to sing the Israeli entry again.
YArazi went to Dublin with the song "Ben Adam" ("Human Being" or literally "Son of Adam") which came seventh.
