About Me

I'm a geek. If I feel comfortable around you I will likely entertain you at least half as much as I entertain myself with random acts of physical comedy followed closely by non sequitur observations.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The usual suspects. All the people I am supposed too and a few that weren't on the preordained list. The monsters under my bed and all of the artists and architects. People who do exactly what they say they are going too or at least people who don't make excuses for themselves. I'd like to mention that people who feel burdened to tell me how, who and where I should be at any given moment need not apply. The person in India to whom I am going to outsource my graduate thesis.

Music:

Is that the noise I keep hearing?

Movies:

Das Boot, Rear Window (and other subtle social commentary by Hitchcock), Spirited Away, Cowboy Bee-Bop, Monty Python, Mr. Bean, Usual Suspects, The Godfather, About a Boy, High Fidelity, Better off Dead, Bubba Hotep, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Cold Comfort Farm, Sabrina, Talladega Nights, Austin Powers, Be Cool, Zoolander, City of God, Mostly Martha, Harold and Kumar, my cells - in quicktime and avi - I watch those suckers for hours....

Television:

nope.

Books:

I love books.... anything by Milan Kundera, almost finished everything he ever wrote...- Fitzgerald, (not Ella, but F. Scott... ) Hemingway, the entire hitchhiker's guide the galaxy all 6, ender's game, the beautiful works of kerouac, The Tipping Point, Blink!, west with the night, The Pharamacological Basis of Therapeutics, Sonar en Cubano, Books on soil chemsitry as related to viticulture, Semantics; An interdisciplinary reader in philosophy, linguistics and psychology, Last year I was in Powell's books Oregon, if they would have let me I would have moved in and lived in the classic car section which was situated next to every book on chess you could have ever wanted.

Heroes:

Maria Montessori, Marie Curie, A. Garret Lisi, Adrian and the inventor of the French press. .. ..

Tahoe in Spring

I awoke to familiar, though blurry-eye images from my youth. The brightly colored patch-work curtains, the upright fluted glass light shades that force even the most efficient lights to cast a warm ch...
