Sandra , originally from Bonn, Germany, was seeking a challenge and decided to move to the United States in 2000. She was overwhelmed with all of the new places to discover 'TTL' (Through The Lens) and was inspired by the ’new world’.
She attributes her artistic talent to her relatives, many of whom were artists themselves who encouraged Sandra to explore her creativity.
While in the United States, and armed with just her antique 35mm NIKON F, she attended a photography and marketing program at UC Berkeley. She developed her colorful and playful style and started a small San Franciscan monthly art show. There she was responsible for prints, promotion and marketing, and she had a great opportunity to refine her technique.
She moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and was introduced to the digital SLR system, which she now uses and loves. She also learned to incorporate digital images in her work with the newly adopted knowledge of Photoshop.
In 2005, she decided to seek a new challenge and moved to New York City. She has been further developing her artistic technique with additional training at ICP ( International Center of Photography), and her growing involvement in event photography and also currently exploring interest in Advertising and Marketing.
Naturally, her next challenge is to start her own studio business, which she is planning right now!Myspace Contact Tables
