I am here for Friends

About Me

I like questions, but love answers. I am on a never-ending quest to know everything, so I can be the smartest person in the world...or at least just win at Jeopardy. Laughing is fun, dancing is funner, and tequila is the most delicious drink ever created. I write alot, but talk quite a bit more - beware, I carry a travel-sized soapbox. I'm a news junkie and a politics addict, but reading all of the junk magazine covers at the supermarket checkstand is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I'd like to save the world, but am still in the process of saving myself. I adore words: written, spoken, yelled. I feel absolutely naked without earrings, and if I ever won the lottery I'd divide the rest of my life between obtaining various Ph.D's and philanthropic work.

My Interests

Reading, writing, dancing (to Salsa),hanging with the family and drinking tequila. Debating politics and religion...with anyone who will halfway listen. Crossword puzzles and reading the entire Sunday paper while drinking coffee at my favorite coffee shop. Photography, volunteer work and telling everyone what I think.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone on the Brazilian, Mexican or Spanish National soccer teams. Prince. Any of the US Presidents. Alice Walker. The person who created the crap we call mayonaise. Jesus. Nelson Mandela. Celia Cruz. Anyone who writes for National Geographic. All of my ancestors. Barack Obama. Willy Wonka. Anderson Cooper. The lead guy from Calle 13. Anyone who's ever completed the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle.

Music:

Mostly World Music, especially Salsa-mainly Cuban and Puerto Rican. I can pretty much get into anything, and my music collection is broad...but you'll never catch me listening(willingly)to country. Never.

Movies:

Why such hard questions? Ummm...The Color Purple, Dangerous Liasons and Dumb and Dumber, just to name a few.
nataliedee.com

Television:

Lost. Desperate Housewives. Almost anything on the Discovery Channel, oh, and Family Guy. Dancing With The Stars.

Books:

So many to choose from...my all-time favorite would have to be One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Heroes:

My big sister.
