I need a doctor. A proper doctor.

About Me

I like GOOD Sci-Fi, super-heroes and many other nerdy things. Case in point...
I like movies and nintendo and music and nature and tasty food and solving puzzles and reading books and cool breezes and lingering looks and campfires and sunsets and beaches and kittens and run-on sentences.
I dearly love to laugh, and find that the only things worth doing in life generally involve laughter.
I value wit, sensitivity and loyalty.
I don't like negativity, poor hygiene, seafood, racism, sports or politics.
Family is very important to me, and so are friends.
Every time I choke (on food, drink, etc.), I immediately sneeze afterward, like clockwork.
I am allergic to more medicines than most people have ever taken.
I have moved at least 28 times in my life. I think that estimate is conservative.
I drive a VW Jetta wagon. That's right, Greta's Jetta. Laugh it up, fuzzball.
I own more video game systems than I do purses. Not very girly, I know.
When The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess comes out, people may not see me for a while. At all.
I love (almost) all things British. Most of all the men, but the food, beer and telly are pretty nice as well.
I don't really like to pimp things on my page, but I do want to support my ickle broseph. This is my bro's band. Check 'em out if you want to, they're nice kids.
I also need to add this to my page, because grass roots adverts are sometimes the best. Check out iko. It is the first band I've run across on myspace that A)I didn't already know about/like and B)is actually quite good. I know that makes me sound like a rather pompous ass, but it's true. I suppose it helps that someone related to someone I know knows them, or one of them, or something. WHATEVER! Live it, love it, learn it; iko.

My Interests

I have found that I am interested in far too many things for the conventional amount of space allotted to these profiles. In an effort to conserve space, I have elected to use scrollbars.

Obsessions
Compulsions 1. Checking my myspace page
2. Kissing my hand and then touching the roof of my car when passing under a yellow traffic light
3. Alphabetizing my dvd's
4. Sorting my closet by type and color
5. Putting things back EXACTLY where/how I found them
6. Hitting Snooze
7. Buying people gifts

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet people who make me laugh. There is enough drama in everyday life that I don't need any more! Oh, and people who were nerds in high school. I find that nerds make the coolest adults (Depending on the extent of their geekery, of course).

My Blog

Steroids, anime, vegan food, withdrawal and backrubs. My week in a nutshell.

As I mentioned in a previous entry, I tripped and fell like a big eejit at work about a month ago. I have been attending physical therapy and weekly doctor appointments with varied results and even mo...

My own personal CSI episode

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my re-check after my first worker's comp appointment. I have also been attending physical therapy, but so far it hasn't made much of an impact on the pain/muscle tig...

Insert Clever Title Here

I don't have much to say, I just feel like rambling. Let's see...I hate the Hermosa Beach blockbuster store. Specifically, I hate working there. Those who know me know I am a smidge OCD, and a store t...

Just a quick complaint

I am moving house on Tuesday. I think I have mentioned that before. Naturally, they want to show the place to as many potential renters as possible so they don't lose any rent in the process, which I ...

I think I spoke out of turn

So it isn't that today isn't a barrel of laughs, but I just mean that I haven't really gotten much done. While Anna was here I got all my dvd's packed up (more work than it seems), but after she left ...

Pleasant surprises abound today!

I was given a last minute reprieve last night as my all day meeting was postponed until next week. Pleasant. I had a conference call today, but it was less than an hour, and now I am free to pack up m...

I need a muse, some inspiration...or maybe just caffeine.

I only have 10 days to finish packing up all my belongings and move house. I have no time for mucking about, and that is ALL I CAN DO TODAY! I had a lovely lie-in, played Zelda for a bit on my Wii, a...

Ever done something and immediately regretted it?

So I got up this morning, bristling with new-found intensity for my health and well-being, and I started rummaging through my cupboards for as many of the vitamins I could find. I had done a good bit ...

What a fab holiday!

This has been very nice. I have spent the past few days at my parents' new townhouse in Cameron Park. We have been motoring through Doctor Who, playing Nintendo and watching sports on telly (or ignori...
