Influences: Well as we know I have no band etc So what inspired me to do this? Well......I've listened to Garage when I was in my early teens, my best mate Olwen & I would be down Northweald market as much as possible buying all the new tapes & mixes that had just come out...My boyfriend at the time got bored of this & tried to convert me to drum & bass. Tho I like a lot of it I wasn't quite feeling that lol I started listening to happy harcore etc as there were less new garage songs being made so it got a bit repetative listening to the same tunes.Now we were getting bored of music but wanted to be out in the clubs... My best mate (yes I have 2!) Holly converted me to Hard House & HardCore for a long period of time to fill the lonely gap in my heart lol this had me in the clubs most weekends oi oi!!!!As time went on I met up with a friend who I hadn't seen for a long time who also appreciated hard house but at heart was more of a garage person. They gave me c.ds etc so I started listening again.....as it was approx 6-7 years down the line to the time when i started first started listening to those repeatative tunes, they were wicked again lol. There were also lots of tunes I hadn't heard with new stuff still coming out. At that particular time in my life, life wasn't to great so as all garage lovers know theres a tune out there for every feeling you can have & I started listening to garage on a daily basis as it was a bit easier to listen to than the harder stuff.Garage has introduced me to some extremly talented musical artists such as Klass Mc (What's that? www. Klassmc.com ?big lol I), DJ Twist, Mista Mee, Logo MC & DJ Insperation (The Dirty Outlaws) MC Ranger & Get Down Promotions, Twist, Yung D... I could carry on but I have waffled on for ages so far anyway lol (Oh & as most people know I have known Klass for years I was lucky enough to see his talent grow over the years...& yes I know I biast but the man has a lyrical gift..if you don't belive me just listen!)I said before there was also new tunes coming out and since I had a break from garage there were radio shows such as Subjam & www.ukflow.tv to play my muched loved music..... again there is alot more but this is begining to drag on a bit.After reading all the above you can understand why I love garage & I want to use my myspace to help promote what I love. No one has asked me to & I doubt everyone knows that I have even done this but its something I wanted to do so I did! ;o)xx
