The first record I bought was The Clash (green album) that was when I was thirteen... by fifteen I had discovered Agnostic Front, C.O.C., Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendancies, Descendents, Rudimentary Peni, The Misfits... At 17 It was hardcore; Murphy's Law or Freedom Rock; Led Zep/Pink Floyd/Jimi Hendrix- depending on weather or not I was taking acid or smoking pot or just getting drunk... Sid Barrett and Public Enemy carried me from one side of the country to the other- having left the friends I grew up in exchange for being the new kid again- and a loyal pet dog. David Bowie, The Ramones, Richard Hell, The Buzzcocks, and for a short time There was My life With The Thrill Kill Cult... Nirvana and Soundgarden... Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley, Lucky Doobie, Eek-A-Mouse- The Specials !!! sometimes I can listen to Danzig and sometimes I listen to the Flaming Lips- it all just depends on where I'm at....
