going to shows (when they're worth it), playing the guitar in my band (be cool and check us out sometime), sleeping, masturbating to scrambled porn; eating bacon egg and cheeses (i make the best BEC's); listening to tunes; admiring good spelling and grammar; living a drama-free existence; minimalism; being the nice guy and never getting appreciated for it; buddhism; having morals that do nothing but complicate things in a world that lacks them; arizona green tea is blazin'; i'm incredibly stubborn and on a mission to prove all ignorant people wrong; writing stuff i find beautiful or frightening depending upon the mood; enjoying life one smile at a time......did i mention sleeping? cause that one's mad important. for real.
doesn't matter. you're not her. she doesn't exist. but request me anyway.
i need something beautiful.
people claim to listen to everything. i actually do.
i rarely ever watch movies anymore that don't provoke thought and/or change my life. there must be emotion, confusion, and ultimate sadness: in other words, reality glorified. i have a pretty good dvd collection, and stay home and just watch a movie in bed a lot. sometimes you just need a nice break from life and partying. here are some of my favs. if you actually care: VANILLA SKY (perhaps one of the most underrated movies ever and probably my fav.) REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, THE JACKET, pulp fiction, PI, kill bill 1 and 2, my cousin vinny (seriously people, does it get any better?),SAW 1 and 2, SILENT HILL, the notebook (okay, maybe i'm a fag but keep it as a guilty pleasure), 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN (hilarious!), snatch, DONNIE DARKO, the beach, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND(if only there were such a process) ADAPTATION, romeo + juliet, 25TH HOUR, empire records, SEVEN, american beauty, SIN CITY, CRASH (EVERYONE should see it!), FIGHT CLUB, natural born killers, STAY, eraserhead (any movie that can creep you out like that is phat), LOTR TRILOGY, wedding crashers, AMERICAN PSYCHO, a clockwork orange, THE BOONDOCK SAINTS, being john malkovich, and WAKING LIFE (if you appreciate this movie and don't have a penis, we should probably be dating
READ A BOOK YOU ILLITERATE DUMBASS! well, read one after you watch the colbert report and family guy.
Pretty much ANYTHING by stephen king (he writes normal, unscarry stuff too), The Catcher in the Rye (Holden only says the word "depressed" about a billion times), The Others and Nobody True by James Herbert, Ghost Story and lost boy lost girl by Peter Straub, Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, Holes (yeah the movie was gay but the book got me into reading), The Crucible, The Five People You Meet In Heaven (so good), Tuesdays With Morrie, Alone with the Horrors and Nazareth Hill by Ramsey Campbell, The Outsiders, That Was Then This is Now (ain't that the truth), The Canterbury Tales, Macbeth(i've actually dated one of the weird sisters), Faust, Romeo and Juliet (should I just put on my pink lipstick and purple polka-dotted dress right now? lol), and um, let me think, it's gotta be something manly.......edgar allan poe has some blood and stuff (I grabbed my balls and grunted when I typed that... and a football game was playing in the background)
i admire anyone who stays true to him or herself, a trait very uncommon nowadays.
