i have a little fish that was supposed to have a year-long life span. he's in a tank that i never, ever clean. i've had this fish for six years now. i respect him for surviving me. max fischer is also my hero.
edit: my little fish has passed on. my cousin carried the fishtank outside when he was redoing the floors, and left it out in the cold. when i came home, the tank was nearly completely frozen. i tried to revive the fish for three days, but it didn't really work out. very upsetting.
