I love NASCAR
I'm a DIE-HARD Earnhardt fan!!
***JUNIOR***
"All the while it is time for me to continue his legacy in the way I only know I can, by taking the life lessons that he taught me, be a man, race hard and contend for championships. Since that is what I plan to do, I feel strongly that I would have my father’s blessing." ~~Dale Earnhardt, Jr on his decision to leave DEI
I love my kids and I enjoy spending time with them and their friends. Both of my children are such incredible people! I love to read, go camping and mess around with potted plants, I LOVE wind chimes, I love music and movies and I also like to cook and I've recently gotten into photography. I'm a sports lover! Of course, I love NASCAR, I also love high school and college football and want to learn more about baseball....I love my job (which involves computers) and I also like to mess around on the internet making web pages and stuff.
I love to travel! If I had the time and the money there are SO many places I'd love to go. Please visit my photo albums to see pics from several of my trips and vacations. I went to New York City in 2006 when my Daughter marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and it was the trip of a lifetime. It is the most amazing place and everyone should go there at least once!
**HOMEWOOD PATRIOTS**
I love the Homewood Patriots and especially the Homewood Patriot Marching Band. My daughter has been marching in this fabulous band since her Freshman year. I have been to every game, parade and competition. I also love the football!

I'd like to meet:
Well, as far as celebrities and such, I guess I'd love to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr, although I'm not sure if I could maintain my composure. I was once within a few hundred feet of him at Talladega and I was a complete spastic mess, scrambling with both the binoculars and camera hanging around my neck LOL! I have met Tina Gordon the 'Queen of Woo' and she was just as nice and down home as she could be. I have a few very good .. friends who live close by and very far away, who I would love to meet in person someday. Other than those, I'm not sure.
Things I like: Kindness, Generosity, Passion, Humor, Spontaneity, Intelligence, Stability and Money (yes that's right, just being honest).
Things I don't like: Weakness, Superficiality, Selfishness, Narrow- or Small-mindedness, Uncaring, Uninterested, Uninteresting, Unclean.
I don't like people who play games or make promises they can't keep. I don't hold anything back and ALWAYS express myself and appreciate the same from others. I'd rather clean up the dirty mess and get rid of it than sweep it under the rug only to encounter it again and again and again.

Books:
I don't read books anymore cuz I don't have time but I have read a lot of books and the two best books I have ever read were written by unknown authors. They were called 'Tully' and 'Butterfly'. Since my books are packed up in the attic I cannot list the author of either of these books but they are both great. 'Tully' is about a troubled young girl with a sickly, cruel Mother and a daughter that she doesn't quite understand. It's an awesome read! 'Butterfly' is about an ugly duckling woman who gets plastic surgery and becomes a beautiful butterfly. She and a couple of friends proceed to open a salon in Hollywood called 'Butterfly'. There is a lifetime movie that has a very similar storyline but it is not the same story. Both of these books are great reads, even for guys! Especially 'Tully'! This book was so engaging that I literally read the whole thing (a big fat one) in about 2 days! Literally couldn't put it down!
Heroes:
My BIGGEST heroes would have to be my parents (RIP Dad) and my children.
THEY ROCK!
This is my friend Scar (on the left wearing the Jr jacket). He is the most dedicated Nascar fan I know. He lives in Canada. Last February he traveled by car, bus, plane and foot all the way to Daytona International Speedway.
Here is Scar at Daytona USA and the famous statue of 'The Man'.
NO WORDS ARE NECESSARY...
Thanks to Scar for allowing me to put his pics and his Daytona trip on My Space
