About Me

The Toy-Box Trio began in early 2007 as the brainchild of the ensemble's composer & band leader--Harlan Glotzer. Harlan had been enamored with the sound of the toy piano for some time, as well as his personal instrument--the concertina. In bringing them together, he has created a sonic landscape reminiscent of dusty old music boxes, & haunted carnivals.

This animation by the very talented Redd Walitzki was scored and recorded by The Toy-Box Trio's very own Harlan Glotzer. With performances by Harlan Glotzer on Concertina, and Maxwell Adkisson on Toy Piano. Enjoy~!
