Pharaoh - O'ssacipha "Pathways to the GODS " "Hail to you. O Eye of Horus" The Sacred Eye,"which leads on the road of darkness," hovers over a dead man in his tomb. He will be ushered into the underworld by the eye, whose mystical hands hold a bowl of flaming incense. Torn from the great god Horus by his foe Seth, the eye was recoverd by Horus's friend, the god Thoth , and became a symbol for things lost and found again, for things made more precious by having been restored. Symbols filled tombs,temples-and minds-of Egyptians. The hieroglyphic sign for horus was the Falcon, bird of all-seeing eyes. As a bird symbol,Horus soared back in time, for the oldest sky deities were Falcons. The Sacred Eye, is broken down into 6 parts of a well-rounded personality, plump with every sort of power, both heavenly and earthly. This was a creature able to control heaven and earth . Neither the gods in heaven nor people on earth could aspire to such greatness , for the gods lacked earthly bodies and men lacked heavenly powers. Only one person could achieve such perfection: the Pharaoh : "-O'SSACIPHA-" CSP3.
