Welcome to my page! Hi, I'm April. Nice to meet you. I am a beautiful, young woman and loving mother to a handsome 4-year-old son. My current place of residence is in Deland, Florida in my own apartment. At this time, I attend Florida Technical College for an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. God has blessed me to sing for a annoited gospel group by the name of "The Anoited Barkley Singers". We sing near and far spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in song. My goal is to complete college at F.T.C. on July 12, 2008 and begin working in my field of study as a Correction Officer in prisons for adults and/or juveniles. After that, I plan to futher my education at Mountain State University in Altamonte Springs,FL for my Bachelors of Science Deree. I may have to take a little break, slow down a bit, and take care of home. With the help of God, I hope to purchase my own home. I am so greatful to God for everything that he is doing for me. God has blessed me with a very special man in my life. He is one of the best things that has happened to me in a long while. I truely thank God for him. God has even blessed with very supportive parents. And with the help of my loving mother and father I will reach my goals. I also have a loving grandfather that is also praying for me along with the prayers of my grandmother, the late Erma Jean Henry whom we laid to rest October 6, 2007. God has blessed me with very supportive family members to push me through this season of preparation, so that I may continue to achieve my goals. In everything that we go through in life, sometimes it gets a little too much for us to handle. But God is still there to see us through it all. There comes a time when you just can't fix your to pray. The weight is too heavy for you to carry. That is when he is standing there with his arms wide open, waiting for us to give him full control of the situation. God sees all and he knowns all about it. Just talk to him, or if not that, look up to our heavenly father. He can feel your pain. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. And when you feel like God does not hear you when you pray, you need to P.U.S.H. That means to pray-until-something-something-happens. May God bless and keep you. Always remember, It is better to know him and not need him, than to need him and not know him.
