Through workshops and discussions, DKDF aims to present an alternative to the self-indulgent dudedom of the average fest. We want to create a space for discussion of what masculinity means and how to be a responsible feminist ally. To clear up any confusion, the fest, as well as the workshops, are completely gender inclusive and all ages.
This year, the fest will benefit HIPS (Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive) and Ubuntu NC .
(We're working on a new website--it's a blog. Check it out: differentkindofdudefest.wordpress . And we're on the web here !)
