About Me

--- Message me before sending out a friends request.

I'm a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n roll, and a whole lotta kooky. I love movies. I love films. I love cinema. I watch movies like mad, sucking up all the information I can about them. When I have the time I can go for days doing nothing but plowing through my DVD collection. One wonders how I get work done. Hint: I don't.

My Interests

To say that I like movies is a gross understatement. I enjoy them IMMENSLY, and am much more serious about them than your average wanker who goes out to see Fantastic Four, The Island, or any other commercial schlock the mainstream is currently spewing from its gaping anus. Give me some good old Samurai movie or Van Damme classic, and I'm set. I like solitude, even more so when I'm sharing it with my girlfriend. I also like asking people questions they don't know the answer to.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone gracious enough to give me a job in non-donkey porn filmmaking.

Music:

I love those cheesy 80s songs. Tinstar, Kenna, Muse, and Eliot Smith are cool, but I'm open to all kinds of music. I always love listening to John Williams' Star Wars scores.

Movies:

I will watch anything and everything, though I'm not too keen on asinine romantic comedies. Give me something by Kurosawa or Luc Besson, I'll be happy as a happy toad. Can't forget to mention Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Those rock my world! Spaghetti westerns, Van Damme flicks, Michael Caine's gangster movies, Paul Thomas Anderson: They're all frickin' AWESOME! Random favorites include Equilibrium, Dark City, The Lost Boys, Se7en, Rashomon, Hidden Fortress, Hard Boiled, The Killer, Face/Off, Nosferatu, Fritz Lang's Metropolis, Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis, Akira, The Guyver (anime and the live action ones for chuckles), Spartan, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Uwe Boll's howlers, Double Indemnity, Chinatown, M, Terminator 2, Notorius, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Ghost World, Phone Booth, Flatliners, Laurel Canyon, Prick Up Your Ears, The Conversation, The Bay Boy, Cybernator, BATMAN BEGINS!

Television:

24, Arrested Development, House, MST3K, Sliders, Blackadder, The Office, Reno 911!, In Living Color, The Venture Brothers.

Books:

Screenplays: Magnolia, Batman Begins, Equilibrium.

Heroes:

Tom Fulp, John Preston, Jack Bauer, Batman, Brock Samson, and MYSELF. I'm surprised I made it this far!

My Blog

There we went.

And this is my last entry -- on Myspace, at least. I don't want those News Corp assholes owning my thoughts, so I removed all my entries. And will someone kill Tom? He can't code a website for shit.
