Writing Process for Next Album has Begun....

About Me

The Beginnings...They started as the FLYING PENGUIns in 1999 with just Ryan C. and Kevin. The Flying Penguins never performed any music. Then in 2000 the band changed to the DRUNKEN SAILORS and still didn't make a sound. Then in Summer of 2000 added Kenny Burst as drummer and the band name was undecided. In October 2000 David joined at bass. Then the band name changed to CODASCO. Codasco practiced alot but never performed. Then sadly in 2000 Kenny left soon after David joined.Brent then joined the CODASCO The new drummer was then Russell. The band then picked up Jack as vocalist and percussionist. Then in December 2000 the band changed to it's current title SATISFACTION The band then had their first performance in Jan. of 2001. The band kicked Brent out and brought him back a few times and his final departure was in 2002.100%....Soon after Brent left, Satisfaction went on to record their first Album entitled "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed". Demo recordings were made with Greg Cohen, but they later moved to Shack Studios where the album was recorded. The CD was released in Spring of 2003. With a tracklist as follows:1.Satisfaction 2.Decsions 3.Shack Blues 4.Ambercrombie Kids 5.Ballad of the Bum 6.Russell Silver 7.Alone 8.So Long SaddamThe band played more live shows with highlights such as Ramnesty. In 2004 Satisfaction began work on their follow up album to "100%" entitled "Russell Silver". Shortly after playing Battle of the Bands that year, Ryan Chuang decided to part ways with the band, leaving a void that was taken up by Jack on guitar. Even with this setback writing continued on "Russell Silver" the bands most ambitious project to date...This concept album told the story of a young man who runs away from home, joins a gang, falls in love, and starts a downward spiral towards the end of his life, only to be recalled. Debuting on guitar is Jack Burkhardt in addition to the normal lineup with guest performances including keys (Peter Schankman) Guitar (former band memeber Ryan Chuang) and the most amazing trumpet solo to grace a rock album, performed by Charlie Rose. Recorded in the summer and fall of 2004 at Shack Studios and released on Russell Records, the album was released Jan. 10th, 2005 to critical sucess with Boris Goldenberg giving the album 4/5 stars. Track List: 1. No Evil 2. The Visit 3. Runaway 4. Initiation 5. Trouble 6. Josephine 7. You Found Me 8. Confusion 9. Loop of Henle 10. Cacaphony 11. Dimentaphobia 12. Lucy 13. El Grito Del Lobo Solo 14. Don't Kill Yourself 15. Live OnPreperations were then made for the Satisfactions biggest show yet. Many songs off of "Russell Silver" made their live debut, including "Initiation" "El Grito" and "Dont Kill Yourself". A DVD has been recorded and the show may be available in the future. In the Summer of 2005 Satisfactio began work on the as of yet untitled 3rd album from the band.
