Music, dancing, sports, art, reading, traveling and witty diatribe.
People who are cool, smart and love to listen and dance to good new wave, gothic or industrial music. Also people (women mostly) who will laugh at my bs and silly antics. Laughter is good for what ails ya. I would like to meet a woman to settle down with but until then I will get by with a little help.
I was raised on rock and roll. I appreciate 'the oldies' but I am constantly looking for 'new stuff'. For me now, the 'new stuff' resides mostly in the gothic/industrial genre. A few of my"old" favorites in this category, (all whom I have seen live in the last couple of years) are Wolfsheim, VNV Nation, Covenant and Assemblage 23. My recent new favorites are Namnambulu, Colony 5 and Neuroticfish. My current favorite would be 'Mesh'. I saw them in Germany last June and was hooked. I am a slave to the music in an almost tribal manner. It connects me to the Spirit that binds us all. I love how a certain song will play and it takes me to a place or time in the near or distant past.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the first three 'Star Wars', anything Tarentino or Coen brothers. This list could go on and on and I would still probably leave something out so 'Fuck it', I quit.
I try to minimize my boob tube time. Being a sports junkie though, I have to check in on some game or another almost every day. I do love Scrubs, Chappelle, ATHF, Boston Legal( the two main characters are a couple of dirty old men, go figure) and Reno 911.
Mostly science fiction and horror. My all-time favorite author is Dan Simmons. If anyone out there in cyberland has read the Hyperion Quadrilogy I would like to hear from you.
My parents.
