Frisbee Golf is a game which you can all play. No matter your stature nor mental ability. The rules and so on are below: ENJOY!!Frisbee Golf Rules and GuidelinesBy Carl Messenger, Bill McLocklan, Tim “Strider†Bulmer and Jon ColebrookDrafted: 2nd April 20071. Frisbee Golf is a game for two or more players that can take place in any open area, e.g. a municipal park.2.The equipment needed for a successful game of Frisbee Golf are as follows:
• 1 Frisbee
• As many tennis balls as there are participants (or failing that, a minimum of 3 will suffice)
• Official Frisbee Golf Scorecard (see Appendix)
• A pair of durable, comfortable trousers
• A starting point known as a “bagâ€3. In setting up each course, each player takes a ball. The players simultaneously throw OR boot (a volleyed kick) their balls into the playing area in any direction they like within the agreed open space.4. The positions of the balls will now form the course. The order of the balls should be played by working from the furthest right to the left from the view point of the “bagâ€, i.e. the furthest right ball is ball number one.5. Play continues with each player taking it in turn to complete the course.6. A player can complete the course by throwing their Frisbee from the “bag†to the first ball. The player is deemed to have completed a ball by throwing to within two strides of the ball.7. The Frisbee must then be thrown to the next ball in the sequence only from where the Frisbee had landed from the throw previously.8. A stride is measured from the back heel being level with the back edge of the Frisbee. This back foot (the “Frisbee Footâ€) cannot leave the ground UNTIL the leading foot (the “Striding Footâ€) is confidently in contact with the ground. The Frisbee Foot will then be brought forward and placed as close as possible to the target ball. If this distance is confirmed by a majority of players that the stride covers said distance, then the player is said to have completed the ball. The player has three attempts at the stride.9. It is permitted to use one positioning of a thrown Frisbee to achieve the completion of more than one ball AS LONG AS these balls are completed in sequence.10. Once a player completes the entire course, the next player takes their turn.11. The objective of the game is to score as few points as possible. Points are awarded for each completed throw of a Frisbee. If a player hits the target ball with the Frisbee, this is deemed to be a “Ballâ€, and the number of “Balls†a player has accumulated throughout the game will decide the winner in the event of a tie.12. When all players have completed the course, then balls shall be collected and a new course is determined as per rule number three (3).13. A player cannot enter the field of play until the first throw has taken place from the “bagâ€. This only applies to the player who has current control of the game. Other players may be allowed to enter the course before their respective turn to aid on adjudication, e.g. the striding distance and any contention of it.14. In the event of a tie situation (i.e. points tied AND “balls†tied), the tied players then play the last course from left to right, thus reversing the course. Lowest score wins. This is called Sudden Reverse Knockout Death Situation.15. The number of courses played is down to an agreement of mutual consent between the players.
