I can think of a lot of qualities that I find attractive that if over-done I find unattractive! One thing I find very attractive is the ability to make conversation. I am a little shy at first usually, but I warm up with some encouragement-the more at ease you are the faster I will be. Perhaps self-confidence would be the trait I mean? Then again I have met folks who are arrogant to an extreme who call themselves confident. A good sense of humor is a must! I am not a wise-cracker, and I enjoy a good laugh. I would like it if someone were to get my obscure jokes and to also be able to laugh at the 3 stooges. Was it Oscar Wilde who said "Life is far too important to be taken seriously"? Thats my outlook. Yes, there is a time to be very serious, but not always. He should be someone who will tolerate loud music once in a while(I like my Bach and Gershwin and Nine Inch Nails at 100dbs!), and who likes quiet music too. Someone who will spark me intellectually. I am not a brainiac, but I am just like the Elephants' Child I have an insatiable curiosity! Someone who wont take it personally that I've had a stressful day at work and I need a little quiet time to myself before I am ready to run with scissors again! Maybe patience is the quality I'm looking for there. Other than that, I like to have doors opened for me and those things even as a tom-boy I enjoy being treated like a guy(odd twist there, eh?). Thats not a secret code for"pay my way" I am financially stable. This is all so cut and dried!
