About Me

I live in a factory in east garfield park. There is a thriving community of artists that reside here. It is so thriving, in fact, that I have decided to film a documentary on everyone living in these unique and raw spaces. I am also using my loft to throw underground house parties. My space is 2200 square feet and decked out with a kickin' sound system, a bar, goofy lights, and nine couches. Comfort is a key element I have decided. I am using this site primarily to advertise my party, which is called "Eclectic Clouds." My goal is to gather a diverse group of people who want to get down and meet and discuss interesting issues with each other. It's taken awhile but I think I have figured out the right chemistry. We also have a great core group of individuals that have really contributed to the overall vibe of the events.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Documenting the artists living in my building, djing bumpy house music, basketball (I've made a comeback and am playing in a tournament in June), reading, biking, improving awareness

I'd like to meet:

Those individuals who have shed their programming and gone their own way.

Music:

Deep, bumpy house music, jazz, ambient rock, funk, soul, early 80's, triphop, slowly getting into classical. I believe that there is quality music in every genre. I'm really trying to broaden my horizens and collect international music as well.My favorite artist is Prince. I believe that he is the most important artist of the past 30 years and the greatest protean talent that rock and roll has produced. I am open to refutation. I also like David Bowie, the Talking Heads, and Beck alot.

Movies:

Top 3: Empire Strikes Back, Big Trouble in Little China, Purple RainContemporary: American Beauty, Adaptation, Half Nelson

Television:

I turned off TV at the age of 25. I have not gone back. I am a snob about this. Sorry. I will rent the must see shows, though, and sometimes I think that I'm missing out by not watching the news. But then sometimes I think that I'm gaining. I keep up with sports at my work, much to the chagrin of my bosses.

Books:

The Fountainhead, Goldman and Narcissus, Walden, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Ishmael, The Brothers K, The Game

Heroes:

Prince, Socrates, Nietzsche, Arnold (the Governator)I really am fascinated by people who become larger than life and are still real (or are they?)

My Blog

I just previewed what my business card is going to look like at Office Depot. It looks very silly. I put that I'm a thought poet on it. Hopefully I'll have the balls to hand them out to people. Th...
