Documenting the artists living in my building, djing bumpy house music, basketball (I've made a comeback and am playing in a tournament in June), reading, biking, improving awareness
Those individuals who have shed their programming and gone their own way.
Deep, bumpy house music, jazz, ambient rock, funk, soul, early 80's, triphop, slowly getting into classical. I believe that there is quality music in every genre. I'm really trying to broaden my horizens and collect international music as well.My favorite artist is Prince. I believe that he is the most important artist of the past 30 years and the greatest protean talent that rock and roll has produced. I am open to refutation. I also like David Bowie, the Talking Heads, and Beck alot.
Top 3: Empire Strikes Back, Big Trouble in Little China, Purple RainContemporary: American Beauty, Adaptation, Half Nelson
I turned off TV at the age of 25. I have not gone back. I am a snob about this. Sorry. I will rent the must see shows, though, and sometimes I think that I'm missing out by not watching the news. But then sometimes I think that I'm gaining. I keep up with sports at my work, much to the chagrin of my bosses.
The Fountainhead, Goldman and Narcissus, Walden, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Ishmael, The Brothers K, The Game
Prince, Socrates, Nietzsche, Arnold (the Governator)I really am fascinated by people who become larger than life and are still real (or are they?)
