About Me

Once upon a time (in December 2003) there were two smalltown boys who wanted to play music for the King. The King, being wise, had far more competent musicians in his court, and so the two boys were exiled to play for ogres, trolls and wicked witches in the dark caverns of Lincolnshire. The boys searched far and wide for a drummer boy to play with them but, being fools, the drummer boys were all playing in heavy metal bands. Fortunately a fairy Godmother (Yamaha) blessed the two boys with a magical drumming machine, enabling them to resume their quest. The boys continued searching , singing sad songs of far away lands and lost loves, hoping one day to find the holy grails of melody and major label megabucks. And they lived happily ever after.....Create or get your

Sounds Like: By John Earls LOST HEARTS Drowner's Rock 8/10 myspace.com/losthearts1"The Lincs duo have an instantly appealing Interpol rumble to their bass, only added to by Leigh Ecuyer's equal parts mystic/wounded innocent voice in the vein of The Music.Topped off by Daniel Taylor getting drum machine noises last rivalled by The Sisters Of Mercy's Dr Avalanche and it's a mighty dark anthem.Moody bedsit hero status awaits."SANDMAN MAGAZINE August 2007 by Jon Daniels"Opening with the brilliant 'Devil's Gonna Bring Me A Girl', Lost Hearts displayed their knack for creating tense, melodic tunes, in spite of ongoing technical difficulties. They always seem one step away from spontaneously imploding, shamelessly fractious but brilliantly watchable."

Who wants to be happy forever?

Not much to report this week, we've been too busy writing letters to Father Christmas (or Santa, or Dad, or the twat in the ASDA foyer wearing a white beard). I've asked for some rudimentary musi...

Your red sky at night wont follow me now....

We've had a busier fortnight than usual, as we're starting to realise that being in a band demands more than merely purchasing hairspray and pulling shapes in front of a full length mirror. As such we...
