About Me

New England-bred hip-hop producer BlazeStar is the founder and head of BlazeStar Inc., home of somewhat-critically acclaimed emcee J-Kwest . Because BlazeStar is an attention-wanting bastard, he decided to start postin up his beats on this page. BlazeStar proclaims his beats to be 'fuct' and does not and/or will not guarantee that you will like any of them; if you do, excellent -- holla at him... but if you don't, BlazeStar says eff you anyways. It might be mentioned that BlazeStar refers to himself in third-person on occasion.
BlazeStar will also have you know that you may find some of his works to be too simple, too lo-fi, just loops, or some other whiny drivel. Well, this is done for a couple of reasons. Overproduction is bad -- down with it. With a more hollow soundscape, more emphasis is placed on the lyrics and delivery. Lo-fi is and has always been the BlazeStar way in our mission of keeping the rawness of the early 90's alive. And on the fact that some beats posted are simply loops? Let BlazeStar know if you're feelin any of 'em and he'll make them into finished tracks. For your miscellaneous gripes and whinery, BlazeStar cares not.
Right now BlazeStar is looking to collaborate with worthy emcees. Anyone interested in purchasing or rocking his beats should send a message via this page or e-mail [email protected] for further information. Oh, and if you're wack... five words: GET OUT YOUR FUCKING CHECKBOOK!!

This past weekend, one of my closest friends passed away.  He took his own life. So if I don't update this page for awhile, please pardon me. We love you Jimmy.  Rest in peace....
