[email protected] Douglas Crabb was born January 2, 1958 in a small rural town Rosine, Kentucky. Rosine is the same town where Bill Monroe the founder of Bluegrass music was born. At age 5, Gerald sang for the first time in public at a Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Gerald’s love for music was very evident at an early age. By age 11 he had learned to play the guitar, at age 16 he began his ministry, and preached his first sermon in a small Church in Kentucky. Gerald’s Passion for music and ministry has not slowed down. He has pastured 6 Churches, one of which he founded, has written over 250 songs, has had 22 number one songs, has won multiple awards, founded the international known group, The Crabb Family. Gerald is a National Evangelist, Sings and Preaches over 100 dates a year. He and his wife Debi are very much involved with Compassion International.
