While, on the surface, their material and personas may convey a party-like good time and easy-going attitude, underneath lies a seriousness and dedication to making songs that are at the top of their ability. And it's quite evident that the foursome known as MORE THAN ME embody an undeniable talent and accessibility that is a rare commodity in today's music world.
Based out of Buffalo, N.Y., the band's Power Pop/Rock/Reggae sound allows them the freedom to play a wide variety of venues: from the most intimate acoustic coffee house, to clubs packed with hundreds of excited listeners, as well as larger college campus crowds, to even 10,000 person festivals. And with over 400 shows, and at least 40,000 miles worth of national touring under their belts, the group has plenty of experience in delivering a great live performance.
Throughout their six year career, MORE THAN ME has consistently connected to their audience, at home and on the road, and have been rewarded by being able to sell over 5000 independent CD's (out of the back of their van!), while garnishing thousands of hits on the popular online site MySpace.com, and being voted "Best Original Rock Band" by the WNY Peoples Choice Awards.
Everything else aside, these guys really know how to make some good music. And that's when it comes to this band, you can always expect "more".
