John Dixon is a born and bred Sheffield DJ/PRODUCER.John began DJing in February 2006 where he started his journey in making a name for himself. Since then he has progressed as a DJ and become renowned for his sets of funky uplifting house and dirty electro.In just over a year of DJing and at the age of 20, John has played alongside names such as, ANNE SAVAGE, NORMAN JAY MBE, HERD & FITZ, GRAEME PARK, the FREEMASONS, SANDY RIVERA and K KLASS. He has also warmed up for the HOXTON WHORES, SOUL AVENGERZ, KATE LAWLER and JON CARTER.John has played across the country making a name for himself especially in the North, where he featured at Funk Phenomena in Newcastle and Middlesbrough in July and August 2006.John made his debut at Love To Be in December 2006, which is one of the largest house nights in the country, playing alongside one of the biggest icons in the DJ and clubbing world - NORMAN JAY MBE. Since then John has become a resident at Love To Be in Sheffield and has gained a great reputation from clubbers for his uplifting high energy sets.John has also secured a residency at CHARGED which is yet another Sheffield based night with events running all around the UK and overseas. He has also played at more underground nights in Sheffield and is known for not only his uplifting funky house, but also his dirty electro too. He has played at events in the more secluded areas of Sheffield headling a guest DJ, making a real name for himself in the underground clubbing scene.John has also started producing his own tracks as well as DJing. Not only is he gaining a name for himself behind the decks but also in the studio too.
