I am employed as an electrician but with an ambition to write many novels. My genre is thrillers and crime thrillers. To date I have self-published a thriller which can be bought from Amazon books, 'Last out at Roaring Water Bay'. A loose outline of the story is: When the remains of a WW2 reconnaissance plane is found, antihero Shacks Speed locates the rusty but preserved camera and from the old film roll retrieves four watermarked photographs that show a mysterious Japanese submarine in British waters. Others too are interested in what he found. They are prepared to murder to gain his knowledge, and soon Speed, with his life now in serious danger, attempts to keep one step ahead as he tries to locate 200 million pounds of Japanese gold in Southern Ireland. From the readers who have purchased my book, the reviews I received were excellent. My only problem now is trying to convince a top publishing company to take a chance on a novice writer. At the moment I'm busy writing three more books. One is written but needs revamping and I'm between writing two stories simultaneously.
