The Los Angeles based experimental, hard rock group, Shaolin Temple of Boom (STOB) was formed by vocalist, guitarist and pianist, David Alvarez. Tracks debuted on internet hot spot, MySpace and has since developed a strong underground following with fans all around the world.Shaolin Temple of BooM music can best be described as a blend of influences from the past with visions of the future, "Retro Futuristic" a word coined by Alvarez is the name of the genre of music created by the BooM."I take influences from the 60's and 70's and parts of the 80's and 90's and mix it with ambient sounds and electronics that give a glimpse of how I see the future" -Shaolin Temple of BooMI edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
