K.I. is the young C.E.O. of Street Budget Records, Street Budget Graphix & Street Budget Records.comK.I. is also the voice and recognizable face from the Castle Hill/ Soundview section of the Bronx New York. Which is also the home of artist Remy Ma. The two have collaborated on 5 or more songs before, and after her
Universal release “Something About Remyâ€.
K.I. has been signed to Wanna Blow Ent. alongside Mysonne & Jae Millz.
But after a short year and a half of trials & tribulations, K.I. asked to be released from his contract with Wanna Blow because of differences
with management.
A short while after K.I. started his own independent record company along side his dad Efrain Oliveras. They called their company Street Budget Inc. From this point K.I. started to create a huge buzz in his home town of the Bronx. Thousands of flyers, exclusive promotional trucks, cd's, posters, now swarmed the tri state area. Which was all funded by Street Budget Inc.After performing at many local events, and clubs around the tri-state area. K.I. decided to take his promotion to the next level, cable access television. K.I. & family locked down cable access television for 8 months consecutively. His name and talent began to get the recognition K.I. felt he deserved.
From 2001 to our present year, K.I. has put out numerous compilations of himself, and his Street Budget Record Family.K.I. has also been featured on many mix tapes distributed world wide. Such as DJ Kay Slay, DJ Robe Rob, DJ Famous, Dj Dazon & Dj Lazy k to name just a few.
K.I. has also opened up venues for Dip Set in the Bronx, & in North Carolina for Capone & Noreaga. K.I. has also opened up with a very
special performance at Ja Rule's platinum party in New York.
Headlined his own show in the Bronx which featured Remy Ma, & Dragon from Ruff Ryders.But right at the peek of his publicity gain, his dad was incarcerated placing K.I. at a stand still. The love he received from his family and friends kept K.I. focused on his music trail. Though it was very hard without his dad by his side.
Then once again reality hit, K.I. very hard. He himself was incarcerated in New York State. Not to get into any details, and make a long story short. After his release K.I. quickly jumped right back in the studio. This time around with less friends, and only the family who started from the very begining with him.K.I. has said “Nothing will stop me, nor deter me from my dream, and my love for music., I had an unfortunate run in with the law, but now I'm home and ready to work harder than ever before".The now CEO of Street Budget Records, founded in 2006. The originator of the Unsigned Mix Cd, to help all unsigned artist get their music heard, on thousands of compact disk distributed through Street Budget Records.K.I. states "I'm very ambitious, a peoples person, and have a strong will to succeed. I believe Street Budget is the label to watch
in the years to come. I have a roster of great talent, as well as my self.
