Through research a cure will be found...in the 1950s the life expectancy of a CF child was a mere 5 years, in the 80s 15 years and today, through research that has found medications to assist with this debilitating disease, their life expectancy is 35. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation relies on funds raised by individuals, families and companies because very little is put into research by pharmaceutical companies due to the fact that only approximately 30,000 people nationwide that have the disease...allocation of funds to find a cure for CF is not high on their list of priorities. Please make it a priority on your list of charities...and PLEASE accept our invitation to contribute and help us create a successful 4th Annual River Rock Music Festival Fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Music:

Nichole is a 17 year old girl from Hudson, Wisconsin with Cystic Fibrosis. Some of you may know her or remember her from working the ticket booth at River Rock Music Fest over the past few years. River Rock is a great way to spend the weekend with your family & friends knowing your supporting a GREAT cause. Nichole knows no differant life other than a life with Cystic Fibrosis. A typical day for Nichole requires 2 vest treatments per day(which takes 40 min each), sugar checks, insulin pokes, many inhalers throughout the day & fistfulls of oral medications and that is just to maintain a normal C.F life. When Nichole gets sick. She is in the hospital any where from 1 week to 2 weeks. upon returning home, vest treatments go up to 4, plus I.V antibiotics every 4 hours around the clock. With all this in mind Nichole maitains a part time job, school, working out in the gym, social life, but most importantly she maitains a WONDERFUL sence of humor, a GREAT smile and laughs every day. Mark your calenders for June 15th & 16th. Come out and help us make a differance.
