My name is Skyler and I'm an actress/singer/songwriter! I began acting at six years old. Check out http://imdb.com/name/nm1384666/... I started off with modeling and commercials then I started moving my way up to film opportunites. My first film was "The Adventures of Ociee Nash" as Ociee (www.ociee.com). I eventually started to develop an interest in Musical Theater and that's where the singing came in. I would take any chance I could get to perform at events around my hometown in Georgia. I wrote and recorded my first song at age ten at Real 2 Reel studios. Ever since that first song I haven't been able to stop writing! I absolutely love finding new, creative ways to express how I'm feeling through songwriting. In 2004 my family and I picked up and moved to Southern California(which was the inspiration for my song West Coast Dreams). I'm still heavily pursuing my acting/singing/songwriting career and am very excited to see where these next few years will take me! Wish me luck! -I have a twin brother(I'm two minutes older. HA!) and an older sister.
-I eat, breathe, and sleep to country music! I guess you could say I'm obsessed!
-Favorite food is chicken! I love my vegetables! And oh my goodness, coconut and oranges are sooo good together! A recent discovery of mine.
-My friends are wonderful people.
-My mom is my best friend. I pretty much tell her everything.
-My dad is fantastic.
-I just recently created an Ex-Box. I put all the stuff from ex-boyfriend(s) in it. Haha. It's not even near half way full!
-I love dressing up!
-I love vintage clothing! I have a gazillion hats from the 20's, 30's and 40's.
-My favorite shoes are cowboy boots. =)
-I can't stand sleeping with socks on. It makes me frustrated.
-I'm homeschooled and I work very hard to get straight A's. There are times when my dad has to pry the books out of my hands! I'm also a little bit of a perfectionist.. so that doesn't help much. haha.
-I make wishes at 11:11 (I think that might make me a nerd).
-Skyler Day is my real name-not a stage name.
-I try to be optimistic about everything at all times!
-I dream big! And I plan on making all my dreams come true! So watch out world!!!
